There are a few aspects I truely admire about this picture. But first, as usual:
Positive Aspects:
BACKGROUND
It is a simple background filled with effects - yet it does not look like a chep gradient. Good!
COLOURS
All colours are natural and work togehter in harmony. Derris' colours match best, if I may say so!
Well done!!
EFFECTS
I love the warm, powerful magic of Derris and the cold fire of Neos. It is a great comparison of power, colour and feeling. I cannot really describe it, but it just WORKS!!!!!!!!!
SOMETHING NEW...
I loooooooooove the idea NOT to draw line art for the hair! Derris' hair looks great without any black outlines.
I strongly suggest you keep this for all your "haired" characters!
Negative Aspects:
ANATOMY
You still got some problems about the proper position of the biceps. Derris' left arm is not completely correct... the biceps is too far away from the chest and shoulder muscle. There are some errors here and there, but nothing too serious!
END RESULT:
A very excellent artwork with lots of feeling, magic, strenght, dynamic and life! And it's one of your artworks with the highest level of quality, if I may say so!
